reclaim belonging, acceptance & authenticity
Hello! I am a licensed psychotherapist and the founder of The Untangling Place. I specialize in helping those healing from religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and identity based oppression from systems of control. My work is affirming, liberation-focused, and grounded in deep respect for your autonomy and lived experience. So many of us were taught to distrust our own instincts — to be small, compliant, or “good.” This leaving us tangles up in messages of shame, fear, or perfectionism that keep us from fully being ourselves.
Whether you’re navigating deconstruction, exploring your identity, or rebuilding after spiritual harm, you deserve a space where your story can unfold without judgment. In our work together, we’ll focus on reclaiming your voice, reconnecting with your body and intuition, and cultivating a life that feels self-directed and whole.
My approach integrates trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and liberation psychology, always centering your values and pace. I am queer and neurodivergent-affirming, and I welcome those whose experiences don’t fit neatly into traditional boxes. This is a space to untangle from what’s been imposed on you and reweave something that’s truly your own.
